How to Make a SuperFood Fruit Smoothie with Fresh Ingredients
John from www.okraw.com shows you how he makes a fresh superfood smoothie using strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, goji berries, acai berry as well as coconut water for electrolytes and coconut meat for added nutrient uptake.
Superfood…superexpensive. I’d have to take out a second mortgage to make a smoothie like that…lol
Wow! John, is that a serving for one!?? yummy!
acairoots is the brand I get. No citric acid in this brand.
yum yum yum yum yum!
If I had access to your ingredients here in the humid, and dehydrating Midwest, I think I could have gone through two or three of those just to keep liquids going. Umm I did intend to grow some goji berries this year. The dried goji berries I bought last fall readily germinated, but it was late fall, or early winter, so I wanted to wait until spring or summer. Guess I need to buy a fruit processor!
wow that smoothie looks amazing. where can one purchase organic acai powder? do they all have citric acid added?
I get them at a local mexican market.
Totally Possible. I have a friend that grows them near seattle. check onegreenworld. c o m
John, You are such a wonderful source of knowledge. Thank you for your wonderful videos. I’m now going to research how to grow goji berries in the Pacific Northwest and see if it is possible.
